About me

I am Research Associate in Econometrics at University of Sheffield. Previously, I was Lecturer in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Kent, where I also completed my PhD.

Research interests

Rowan's research focus is at the intersection of applied economics, machine learning and econometrics (theory and application).
His current econometrics theory research focuses on how to estimate unbiased/efficient low-dimensional causal parameters in the presence of cross-sectional correlation in a high-dimensional setting using machine learning techniques.
He also has has applied research in health economics, environmental economics, and regional economics.
